"Somewhere beyond the sea somewhere waiting for me my lover stands on golden sands and watches the ships that go sailin'
Somewhere beyond the sea she's there watching for me If I could fly like birds on high then straight to her arms I'd go sailin'
It's far beyond the stars it's near beyond the moon I know beyond a doubt my heart will lead me there soon
We'll meet beyond the shore we'll kiss just as before Happy we'll be beyond the sea and never again I'll go sailin'
I know beyond a doubt my heart will lead me there soon We'll meet (I know we'll meet) beyond the shore We'll kiss just as before Happy we'll be beyond the sea and never again I'll go sailin'
no more sailin' so long sailin' bye bye sailin'... move on out captain"
Nice capture with the iPhone! Some people are offended by the thought that cell phone cameras might be able to take great pictures, but I love to see what people can do with their mobile devices.
I like your composition here. The silhouette of the tree against the distant background works really well. I also like the way that the shoreline and the tree frame the water and direct my eye, with the open-endedness of the left side of the frame.
One area where the photo could be improved is with the horizon line. It is slightly askew, and while this may be your conscious choice, I think some people dismiss this photograph as just being a mindless snapsnot, especially since it was shot with a cell-phone. I think iPhone photographers have to be exceptionally careful about details like level horizons for their art to gain acceptance.
The other area of note is the post processing of this photograph. I'm not familiar with the Camera+ app, but this photograph seems heavily post processed to give it that expired film look. Again, because apps can make it so easy to process shots this way, I think a lot of people dismiss the work they do out of hand. I personally am a huge fan of the photo apps like Hipstamatic and Camera Bag, but that's of course not true of everyone. If you have the option, you might try decreasing the processing effect by controlling the amount of effect that gets applied.
mind if i use this as a base for a wallpaper?
I'm thinking of adding a couple of wordings, as well.

I'm 18 and I read shoujo.
Deal with it.
As long as i get some credit back to the original that totally fine
Send me a link to the wallpaper when its done, i might use it myself
Cheers!
